Tender Announcement - Organizational and Logistical Support to ADP Enterprise Grants Program

CNFA announces a tender for enterprises (NGOs or private companies) to provide support services to the CNFA Grant Administration Department in sourcing and completing grant applications.

The USAID-funded Agribusiness Development Project aims to increase the export competitiveness of Moldova’s high-value agricultural sector (consisting of fruit, vegetable and table grape clusters). The Enterprise Grants Program is an integral part of CNFA’s overall strategy to achieve the ADP objectives by encouraging investment from grantees’ own resources, third party investors and commercial credit so as to create successful business models. CNFA announces a tender for enterprises (NGOs or private companies) to provide support services to the CNFA Grant Administration Department in sourcing and completing grant applications.

The sub-contractor will be responsible for:

  • Promoting the ADP Enterprise Grants Program and technical assistance among their clients - agricultural producers, producer associations and agribusiness enterprises - with the purpose of identifying eligible candidates for ADP grants.
  • Explaining grant program conditions and eligibility criteria to all interested candidates.
  • Assisting applicants to complete the application forms correctly and accurately, as well as to provide all the required attachments. Because applications have to be submitted in electronic format to CNFA, the subcontractors shall help applicants with electronic completion of necessary forms.
  • Submitting completed applications to CNFA.

Interested organizations must observe the following requirements:

  • Three years of proven experience in conducting business development and/or consulting activities for agribusiness clients;
  • Extensive regional representation with established regional offices or regional affiliates throughout Moldova;
  • Capacity to provide complete administrative support to CNFA Grant Administration Department (including but not limited to staff resources for identifying eligible candidates for grant assistance, explaining eligibility criteria to all interested grant candidates, assisting applicants to complete grant application forms, etc.);
  • Understanding of the high-value agricultural sector is an advantage;
  • Established linkages and relationships with agribusiness enterprises, research institutes, universities;
  • Proven ability to prepare professional reports in English and Romanian.
