Part-time Interpreters/Translators March 1, 2011
CNFA® is seeking qualified individuals to serve as part-time interpreters/assistants for US experts working on short-term assignments in Moldova.
Qualification requirements include: - University degree in foreign languages, economics and/or business management;
- Excellent command of English, Romanian and Russian;
- Strong writing and oral communication skills;
- Ability to relate well to rural communities and work effectively at the grassroots level;
- At least 1 year of experience interpreting/translating on a professional level;
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are a must);
- Flexibility, strong work ethic and willingness to travel extensively throughout Moldova and work directly with rural communities.
The Interpreter/Translator will work with US agribusiness consultants providing short-term training to Moldovan clients. A detailed job description will be provided to applicants invited to interviews. This opening is permanent.
