REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: "Market Research for New Leasing Product Development" November 16, 2006
Two USAID-funded projects, the Competitiveness Enhancement and Enterprise Development (CEED) implemented by Chemonics International and the Agribusiness Development Project (ADP) implemented by CNFA, are commissioning a joint market research project to examine opportunities for expanding leasing in Moldova. Accordingly, private consulting/marketing firms are invited to submit proposals to undertake the research in two parts, which will determine the capacity as well as customer demand and preferences for leasing of commercial equipment and machinery for the textile/apparel/footwear and wine industries (Part 1) and agricultural equipment for the High Value Agricultural (HVA) sector (Part 2). The findings of the research will be shared with the leasing institution(s) to develop new leasing products in the mentioned sectors. Firms interested in submitting proposals must meet the following general eligibility criteria: - Have experience in developing market research methodology and in doing similar kinds of market research, preferably in the financial sector;
- Have trained and qualified field staff, including at least one experienced finance specialist and one economist in the team;
- Have experience with international organizations (not required, but recommended)

Proposals must be submitted in English in MS Word format in hardcopy in sealed envelopes to the addresses below on November 30, 2006 by 17:00. Late proposals will not be considered. |
