Farmers from Moldova receive grain seeds from the US Government September 14, 2007 Up to 1,000 Moldovan smallscale farmers will receive grain seed donations from the US Government which provided $350,000 to procure seeds for fall planting after an extremely dry summer. On September 14, 2007 the first distribution of seeds took place in Peresecina village, Orhei raion. The entire story is available in PDF format here.
